I mostly post pictures of my gypsy adventures on this blog, but I also have a passion for people photography. It sounds cheesy but I love photographing couples, newborn babies, families, or helping to capture the graceful chaos of weddings. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there is something about these moments, some sort of magic in freezing time. Especially when the blink of time is filled with emotion, beauty, and for lack of a better word, realness.
This indescribable feeling — the magical, superhero, time freezing high — was floating all around me as I photographed my good friend Nicole and her fiance Scott the other day. They are beautiful — like toothpaste commercial beautiful. And not only that, but they are hilarious as well. I walked away from the beach with a goofy smile plastered on my face. That’s the thing with these two, you can’t help but smile when you’re around them. They are a walking happy virus and they infect everyone around them.
